At the end of this month, on November 30, 2021, important new CFPB regulations take effect. Although written specifically for third party collectors (like collection agencies), they will also have an effect on first party collectors (like credit unions and banks). If your job involves the collection of consumer debts -- whether as a collector or as one who supervises collectors -- you need to learn these new rules!

Next Tuesday, November 23, attorney Eric North will explain in detail what the new rules say, how they affect you and your employer, and the steps you need to take to comply with them. Topics will include:

Because of the amount of material to be covered, the program will run for approximate three hours, with 10 minute breaks at the end of the first and second hour.

Cost/Registration
Until the program begins, the fee to attend this special three-hour (with two 10-minute breaks) event is $295.00 if paid by credit card or $305.00 if paid by check. For that fee, you and others from your financial institution may view the live program (from one computer) AND the archived program as often as you like for a period of six months.

After the live program has ended, the fee for the archived program will be $325.00

Handout Materials
Handout materials will be made available in PDF the day before or morning of the program. When they are ready, an email will be sent to all registered participants and a link will appear on the right-hand side of the page at northlegal.com.
