Repossessing motor vehicles is serious business! Because of the impact repossessions have on consumers' lives, all states have complex laws that govern every part of the pre- and post-repossession process. Not knowing, understanding, and carefully following these laws can cause the loss of deficiency balance rights, significant financial penalties, and public embarrassment for the violating creditor.
Many repossession-related lawsuits are triggered by things that happened before the repossession occurred. During this Part I of the Repossessing Motor Vehicles program, attorney Eric North will talk with participants about crucial steps creditors must take before placing a repossession order and while the order is out. Cost/Registration
Until the program begins, the fee to attend is $175.00
if paid by credit card or $185.00 if paid by check. For that fee, you and others from your financial institution may view the live program (from one computer) AND the
archived program as often as you like for a period of 180 days.
After the live program has ended, the fee to register for and watch the archived program will be $190.00
Handout Materials
Handout materials will be made available in PDF the day before or morning of the program. When they are ready, an email will be sent to all registered participants and a link will appear on the right-hand side of the page at northlegal.com.
